I’m proud to share the launch of Listen Consulting, a business formed by my drive for listening, connection, and helping people move forward.
This launch also carries a personal meaning. It’s dedicated to my father, whose birthday marks this special moment. He’s no longer here, but his influence runs through everything I do. When I was little, he would always take the time to talk, and, more importantly, to listen to my endless stories. He was patient, grounded, kind, and never quick to judge. His sense of humor brought warmth and lightness, even in difficult times.
That way of being; calm, open, and deeply human, is something I aim to carry with me, both in my work and my life.
So, what is Listen Mediation?
It’s a service for individuals and organisations. I support people who are stuck, facing conflict at work, dealing with change, or unsure about their next steps. I also help companies, business owners, and teams address disagreement or tension in an effective, constructive way before it builds up and becomes a bigger problem.
I trained as a mediator, and after seeing first-hand how this work can truly help people reconnect and move forward, I felt ready. After lots of thinking (I live in my head quite a bit!), I took the leap. Together with my colleague Gina, who brought the brand to life in such a magical way; Listen Consulting became reality. I’m also grateful to my employer, Seuss, for encouraging exploration and allowing space to pursue other opportunities besides they daily job.
What matters most to me?
Creating conversations that are open and safe. A space where people feel heard, seen, and understood, especially in moments of conflict, when emotions run high. I bring a calm, non-judgmental presence and help create mutual understanding between people. That’s what makes my style uniquely mine.
If you’ve never worked with a mediator before
Mediation isn’t about someone stepping in with all the answers. It’s about helping the people involved find their own answers. As a mediator, I facilitate. I listen. I help create clarity, space, and trust without taking sides.
So here’s to listening. To reflection. To moving forward in connection with one another.
And here’s to my dad — who, by simply being himself, continues to inspire me every step of the way.
